Major Xbox One Update This Fall

Major Xbox one update is about to roll out this fall. One of the biggest complaints from people who came across to the Xbox one from the Xbox 360 was, "if it ain't broke don't fix it" referring to the user interface. Since then Microsoft have been constantly tweaking the interface trying to bring it up to par and maybe even improve the Xbox experience. Some key feature users can experience according to Major Nelson are:

  • Parties - Party app has been redone to highlight what activities everyone in your party is doing.
  • New Friends Section - this will enable you to see what your friends are doing, and even check out most popular game-scores over the last 30 days.
  • Media Player - I'm most excited for this feature because it allows the user to access media files and play from either and attached USB device or from a network connection from media severs and will support more formats than the Xbox 360.
Those are the main features i'll looking forward to. Other features are as follows; Xbox One in new markets, Country Expansion, Multiple Game DVR Deletes, Save your Avatar Gamerpic, Setting Updates, Bandwidth User Display, Live TV Mini-guide, Boot to Tv, Stream TV to Smart-Glass, and Xbox One Digital TV Tuner.

These are just some of the feature rolling out, we should see this out by sometime next month. Lets see how much of an improvement this does to the user interface.
